Možnosti biometrickej identifikácie onkologických pacientov na základe metód spracovania obrazu

Abstract

The aim of the diploma thesis is to clarify the possibilities of biometric identification in clinical use and to create a system of biometric identification for cancer patients based on image processing methods. The theoretical part deals with the description of structural changes in the human body, which are caused by undergoing radiotherapy and chemotherapy. Emphasis is also placed on the analysis of the biometric system and its properties. Various methods of biometric identification are described, such as identification based on a fingerprint, face or iris. The practical part deals with the creation of a biometric identification system based on a face recognition in the MATLAB. Data acquisition took place at the Cyberknife department at the University Hospital in Ostrava. The implementation of the system consists of two parts: extraction of facial features and classification and recognition of the face. The practical part also includes the evaluation of selected biometric methods based on their effectiveness and robustness, testing of various influences affecting success and the creation of a graphical user interface.
