Analýza a komparace cestovních dokladů v České republice a jiných státech

Abstract

The bachelor thesis focuses on the analysis and comparison of travel documents in the Czech Republic and selected foreign countries. The aim of the thesis is to provide a comprehensive overview of the current legislative framework concerning travel documents, identify any shortcomings, and propose recommendations leading to the improvement of the travel document system in the Czech Republic. In the theoretical part of the thesis, the legislation and specifics of travel documents in the Czech Republic are thoroughly examined, including their mandatory requirements, issuance process, and validity. Furthermore, the processes of issuing travel documents in selected foreign countries are examined. The subsequent part of the thesis focuses on the conditions for traveling abroad and identifies potential obstacles associated with international travel. In the most crucial part of the thesis, travel documents undergo thorought analysis aimed at clarifying the actual state of our system. In this phase, a comparison of selected foreign passports is conducted, focusing primarily on their strenghts, and interesting facts and information are presented as well. Finally, based on the conducted analyses, measures and recommendations are proposed aimed at improving Czech travel documents and related procedures.
