Abstract
The first part describes the regulations that must be followed when designing, installing and inspecting sealing of joints and penetrations.
The second part deals with the verification of fire resistence, packing transmissions and their classification.
The third section introduces different types of seals as well as their practical usability.
The fourth part is focused on the risk of improper installation.
Some innovative improvements in the standart of fire safety are presented in the end part.
