Vliv povrchového zpracování na povrchové vlastnosti nástrojových ocelí

Abstract

This thesis deals with the effect of selected surface treatments on the mechanical properties of tool steels, namely laser shock peening (LSP), nitriding and their mutual combination. The effect of these surface treatments was measured on selected mechanical properties with consideration on the focus of the steel in question, namely surface roughness and hardness. Furthermore, the effect on the surface treatment on microstructure of near-surface cross-sections was evaluated by the metallography. From the resulting measured mechanical properties, the suitability of a combination of the following surface treatments was examined.
