Abstract

This bachelor thesis deals with a use of 5S method in a particular company. The theoretical part of the thesis outlines, from the available literature sources, the problematic of lean manufacturing and its tools, which are often applied in manufacturing companies. Then the 5S method is explained, together with description of the individual pillars and their benefits. The practical part od the thesis deals with the 5S method implemented in two selected workplaces. The thesis is constituted as a project which analyzes both – the current state of the individual workplaces and the future state with the individual 5S method pillars gradually applied. As a conclusion of the thesis works the evaluation of the benefits and suggestion of the recommendation for the ABC company.
