Abstract

The diploma thesis focuses on evaluating the employee adaptation process in the company Středomoravské stavby, s. r. o. The aim was to analyze the current state, identify weaknesses, and propose improvements. The thesis applies qualitative methods (observation, interviews) as well as a quantitative employee survey. The findings show that the adaptation process is informal and lacks a unified structure. Specific solutions such as a first-day plan, an information guide, and evaluation tools were proposed. The thesis highlights the importance of a systematic adaptation process even in smaller companies and presents an estimate of its economic benefits
