Abstract

The theme of this thesis is Evaluation of causes of casting defects at the foundry using statistical methods and expert system.The aim of this thesis is an sample of solution of casting The Kabinet back defects, whether it was necessary to use the statistical methods to find the causes of these defectsIn the theoretical part, readers can learn the total scrap in Tafonco inc. foundry , what not underestimate with the identification of defect and to determine the causes of defect and methods that can accelerate the identification process. In the experimental part you can see proper solution of casting defects, how those defects were solved in the Tafonco inc. foundry. In conclusion of the thesis there is the assessment whether the defects were dealt properly, the pros and cons are highlight and corrective measures are assessed in economic aspekt.
