Abstract
Usage of microalloyed steels enables methods of thermomechanical processing on die forging. These resources are able to obtain components with high yield strength while reducing production costs. This thesis deals with the possibility of using controlled forging of die forging from microalloyed steel 20MnV6.The influence of temperature and process conditions on the final structure of the component is closely monitored. The part of this project is also comparing industrial testing with FEM numerical simulation of deformation and cooling process. Setting the appropriate boundary conditions is essential to achieve the same results of FEM mathematical modeling and industrial experiments. The results are further verified by measuring temperatures at different times of the process and comparing with forging microstructures. Proposed methods of thermomechanical processing are evaluated on the basis of achieved mechanical properties.
