Abstract

This thesis presents a comparative analysis of the new building act in the Czech Republic (No. 283/2021 Coll.) and Slovakia (No. 25/2025 Coll.), both of which aim to accelerate construction and eliminate bureaucratic barriers through digitization. It primarily focuses on a detailed description of the building regulations in both laws, followed by a comparison to identify similarities and differences. The practical part of the thesis focuses on an evaluation of the digitization of the building permit process in the Czech Republic.
