Hořlavost a výbušnost alternativních a směsných paliv

Abstract

The subject of the dissertation is to evaluate the flammability and explosiveness of selected solid mixed alternative fuels that are made up of a traditional coal fuel base blended with certified fuels derived from waste. The test sample fuels are realistically able to be burned in selected traditional type of energy production in the Czech Republic. The theoretical part of the thesis deals with the analysis of principles and practical knowledge of flammability and combustibility of flammable dusts and selection criteria based on which the test sample was compiled, including a description of the properties of the test sample. This is followed by a description of test parameters, methods and techniques that were implemented during the experimental part of the thesis and contain a wide range of results from analyses conducted on the flammability and explosion characteristics. On this basis, it was then possible to formulate these findings on the subject of the dissertation solutions. The presented results can appropriately be used in the analytical process leading to increased operational safety of energy sources.
