Měření kvalitativních parametrů na metalicko optické síti.

Abstract

Telecommunication providers are forced to keep pace with trend of increasing transmission speed and provision of modern services. Although optical fiber has become very promising, replaced the backbone of the metallic cables and slowly enters the access networks, metallic media are still represented. The theoretical part of this thesis describes the basic transfer properties of metallic and optical media and describes the basic possibilities of hybrid optical metallic networks. The practical part contains measurement of selected parameters of optical network and measurement of digital subscriber lines. The thesis is completed with a design of laboratory measurement that can be used for practical lessons.
