Abstract
The diploma describes the development of agricultural mechanization from the 20th century to the present day from the point of view of air pollution by emissions from combustion engines. The aim of the thesis is to assess the carbon footprint of the farm at the time when GPS tracking systems were not used, machine control and man was doing the control only. The years 2015 and 2016 are considered, it´s the period when the enterprise systems were not equipped and the years 2017 and 2018, it´s the period when the systems were equipped by the company. The first part deals with the theory of carbon footprint according to ISO 14067, the development of agricultural mechanization and environmental management systems according to ISO 14001. The conclusion of the thesis summarizes the contribution of GPS systems to farming management.
