Turistický potenciál města Uherské Hradiště

Abstract

The topic of my thesis is the Tourism Potential of the Uherske Hradiste Town. It is a interesting tourist destination located in the center of Slovacko region and it offers exceptional culture, spiritual, social, sports, culinary and many others experiences. The city is famous for its hospitality, delicious wine and abowe all mainatain for a focus on folklore and traditions. I focus on definitions and explanations of basic concepts of tourism in the theoretical part of my thesis. In the practical part I defined a detailed characteristics of Uherske Hradiste it attractions and tourism infrastructure. The second passage includes the city´s budget of tourism, statistics of visit rate, the SWOT analysis, strategic objectives and a list of preconditions for tourism development. The final phase of the practical part is devoted to a survey of visitors and in particular on the their profile at local hotels. The main aim of my thesis is based on the mapping of culture, historical and natural attractions, but also on various social and sports events and opportunities which the city can offer to potential visitors. Thereinafter I also propose measures aimed at increasing the tourist activities in the city. In my opinion the city Uherske Hradiste is unique destination of our country and has certainly a lot to offer to visitors, as is apparent from my own recommendations contained in my thesis.
