Abstract

The goal of the thesis named “Supplier Relationship Management in Automotive Industry” is to propose a new system of supplier evaluation in a automotive company. The proposed criteria of evaluation are consistent with the standards VDA 2 and VDA 6. Based on the results of the evaluation, the suppliers of the company will be divided into groups and the key areas of deficiencies will be identified. The aim of the theoretical part is to explain the basic knowledge of supplier evaluations. In the practical part, the current system of supplier evaluation will be described. The role of the part of suggestion and recommendations is to propose the new supplier evaluation system and divide suppliers into groups on the basis of this evaluation.
