Abstract
The presented diploma thesis deals with the issue of organizational culture in the selected organization. Organizational culture is the basis of every organization, it is found in every organization, even if it is not determined or not described by the organization. Organizational culture can take many forms and types. Many authors look at organizational culture from their own perspective. The thesis deals with organizational culture and organizational structure. In the presented work, we try to describe the mutual relations between the organizational structure, which is fixed and little variable over time and the organizational culture, which is very dynamic and changes over time. This interrelationship is very difficult to grasp although there is a lot of research that confirms this interrelationship. In order to grasp this relationship, it is first necessary to describe the methodology of the work, i.e., the philosophy of the research and subsequently build the work methods and methodical procedure on it. The thesis also describes the theoretical basis on which the entire research is based, since the entire research is derived from the theory. The practical part includes a description of the characteristics of the selected organization, data collection, analysis, and data interpretation. A questionnaire survey is used for data collection. A semi-structured interview was used to verify the data with selected members of the organization. In the presented thesis, based on the knowledge of the theory and the obtained data, proposals and recommendations for the organization were presented.
