Abstract

The topic of this master‘s thesis is the labour market of university graduates. The thesis is focused on master‘s study program graduates of selected public universities in the Czech Republic. The universities were chosen based on the number of graduates in reference period. The aim of the thesis is to identify factors based on theoretical knowledge that influence a position of graduates on the Czech labour market, to evaluate their employment and to make recommendations for economic policy that would improve the employment prospects of the university graduates. In order to improve the graduate employment the development of soft skills, practical and language knowledge, previous practical training and cooperation of educational institutions and companies is important.
