Abstract

The purpose of thesis was to create promotional and informational website of the Civic Association T. O. TOUHY and present their work and activities on the internet. Assigned task has been successfully done, website is providing to the visitors a current information about the organization. The presentation has created by Web technologies, which are described in the theoretical part. With help of the HTML markup language, cascading style sheet CSS, which separate an appearance from content in pages, and JavaScript programming language supposed to revive the website. The use of these technologies have achieved that website is fully developed and used an active elements. During developing the website was at all time the ephasis on simplicity of updating and easiness of search an information about company. The website would not be a final issue. Capabilities and technologies constantly develop and offer new solutions. In future I would like to keep update the website, which is mean optimize the site to increase their accessibility, usability, especially the ability to attract and increase attendance.
