Strukturální změny v Moravskoslezském kraji a v regionu Porúří

Abstract

The aim of the diploma thesis is to evaluate the impacts of structural changes in the Moravian-Silesian region and the Ruhr region and to identity the problematic areas of restructuring the Moravian-Silesian region a purpose possible solutions. The theoretical part deals with the basic concepts related to structural changes and structural policy. The practical part is focused on structural changes in the Moravian-Silesian region and the Ruhr region and on the subsequent effects of structural changes in the both regions. These parts include especially mining and metallurgy and the development of new industries. Attention is also paid to demographic and labor market developments, but also to the education system and the role of the state in the area of structural change.
