Elektronická kontraktace a aukční systémy

Abstract

The goal of this diploma thesis is to define basic aspects of e-commerce, electronic auction systems and related legal adjustment, determine common problems in this area and find possible solutions of these problems. In the theoretical part there are defined the basic types of e-commerce and auction systems. The following section is a list of laws that regulate this issue in the Czech Republic and the most important directives issued by the authorities of the European Union. In this part there is a great attention dedicated to the new Civil Code and the changes that have been brought about. In the practical part there is a research realized by a method of questionnaire survey focused on opinions, attitudes and knowledge of the young generation in online shopping. There are also mentioned problems connected with electronic contract conclusion and online shopping, and proposed possible solutions to these problems. At the end of the thesis, there are suggestions and recommendations that could help the readers to prevent complications in electronic contracting. Diploma thesis is the basis to those who trade on the internet and do not have required knowledge about their rights and obligations arising from the electronic contracting.
