Abstract

The thesis called „Possible prevention and handling of waste from mechanical engineering operations“ deals with possible prevention and minimization of waste in connection with useful way of economic evaluation in a mechanical engineering operation of metal surface treatment. Next the thesis contains a focus on an analysis of a production and handling of selected wastes from engineering plants, firms and operations. The first part defines the basic legislation from a field of the environment, means of environmental activities used by production plants, acquaints with the main production technologies and the technologies of optimalization and prevention used in mechanical engineering operations of metal surface treatment. The second one contains an introduction of large engineering companies from a view of their licence for handling of produced wastes and their operational prevention measures. Next this part of the thesis is focused on an annual production of selected wastes from mechanical engineering operations during the course of the year 2007 in the Czech Republic and on commonly used waste processing technologies. The target of the thesis is the numeral and graphics production evaluation of amount of 60 selected engineering wastes, and next the analyses of their handling in the Czech Republic. The part of the thesis target is the project of the general metodology for cost comparation in a connection with a prevention technology implemention towards a reduction of pollution production in a mechanical engineering operation.
