Abstract

This bachelor thesis presents an alternative study evaluating the use of selected technical means of security services in the learning process. Due to the relevance of the data and information discussed, the objective of the thesis is focused on the tertiary education sector. The thesis is conceptually divided into a theoretical part, which provides a basic definition of the researched issue, presents statistical findings, and describes current possibilities for using technical means in the teaching process. The second part of the thesis is the experimental section, which includes a description of the experiment design, its implementation, and subsequent evaluation. The experiment was motivated by the aim to gather information that would make it possible to assess the potential misuse of technical devices for alternative cheating methods in the context of studying mathematics at university level. The final sections of the thesis are devoted to the discussion of the results and the formulation of conclusions.
