Historický vývoj koryta Odry na území CHKO Poodří

Abstract

This bachelor thesis deals with the historical development of the Odra riverbed in the nature conservation area of Poodří. First, the natural conditions of the area of interest are described. Subsequently, the geomorphological development of the riverbed and the historical development influenced by people since the period of settlements till nowadays interference are described. Further, the history of water rights together with the long-planned construction of the Danube-Odra-Elbe canal is mentioned. The practical part evaluates the current state of the original Odra riverbed in the municipality of Studénka. It describes the methodology of the data collection in terrain and the flow measurements. In conclusion, the parallel riverbed is characterized, drawn into the map and the results of the measurements of its particular parts, the measurements of parameters of surface water quality and the flow measurements are recorded.
