Abstract

This bachelor's thesis deals with the issue of employee turnover in a manufacturing company. The aim of the bachelor’s thesis is to find out the causes of the high employee turnover in a manufacturing company. The theoretical part of the bachelor's thesis is devoted to defining employee turnover, measuring turnover, factors and causes of the employee turnover. It also focuses on areas of human resources management, employee satisfaction and motivation related to employee turnover. The conclusion of the theoretical part is focused on the impacts of the employee turnover on the company and measures to reduce the high turnover rate. In the practical part, the XY company is introduced, in which the issue of employee turnover is addressed. An employee satisfaction survey was conducted to identify current satisfaction and potential causes of the employee turnover in the XY company. Subsequently, a questionnaire survey of employee satisfaction is analyzed and evaluated. Based on the obtained results of the questionnaire survey, recommendations to the XY company leading to reducing high turnover, increased employee satisfaction and retention are proposed.
