Abstract

My thesis describes a problem that is faced by whole of Europe. Due to a lack of raw materials authorities and companies must deal with raw materials challenges. Because of lack of raw materials originating from Europe and because of how the raw material market is oversupplied from raw materials from China and other states, there is a recession in Europe’s economy that needs to be solved. First step is a creation of a closer union between industry, research and colleges. This leads to creation of new jobs and thus increases in economy. Then authorities and organisations are focusing on inventory of abandoned mines, mining companies and also on development and revision on known figures. Different states also had their legislature scrutinised by EU especially laws concerning regulation of mining and processing of raw materials. Thesis deals with the analysis of current laws concerning mining and processing of raw materials in the Czech Republic and marginally in the EU. On the basis of analysis, the possible shortcomings were selected.
