Zhodnocení výkonnosti vybraných ETF fondů

Abstract

The aim of this bachelor's work is to evaluate the efficiency of selected ETF funds in the period 2003 – 2014 and on the basis of the results to offer possible solutions of choosing funds. In the second chapter there is the definition of general principle of investments that is followed by the part aimed at collective investments. The bachelor's work describes methodology of measuring the efficiency which includes methods for measuring profitability, risks and total efficiency of selected EFT funds. The method of correlation analysis is used and briefly explained. The end of the chapter is aimed at the principles of ETF funds operation. The following part of the bachelor's work characterizes selected ETF funds in details. Practical part of this work applies knowledge from previous parts, gives analysis and compares the results of selected funds. On the basis of the results it is recommended to invest into the funds from the health care and automobile industry sectors.
