Abstract

The aim of the thesis is to determine approaches of small improvements in selected firms in the Moravian-Silesian region. Mission is stated in the implementation of movement and its progress in enterprises. There is effort for achieving results and approaches company managers and employees to continuous improvement. To identify the problems and barriers that exists for minor improvement as good practices in businesses. The theoretical part focuses on the definition of quality principles and approaches to continuous improvement processes. Tools that are discussed here are related to the quality and minor improvements. There are knowledge of small improvements captured in enterprises in the Czech and Slovak Republic at the end of this part. The practical part is drawn in the form of case study research. Information from the surveyed enterprises have been drawn on the basis of questionnaires and semi-structured interviews with managers for quality and the expert for quality. In conclusion there are a summary and suggestions for a more effective course of small improvements in firms.
