Abstract

This bachelor thesis deals with the study of the lower part of the Poruba member in the Czech Part of the Upper Silesian basin. It can be divided into three parts. The first part includes the characteristic of the Czech part of the Upper Silesian basin and of the Poruba member, mainly its specification, geology and its territorial and general structure. The second part of this thesis is focused on the lower part of the Poruba member itself, its lower and upper borders and its faunistic horizons. The last part includes the methodology of the thesis, the solving techniques, the progress of the monitored parameters, the preparation and data processing important for the map materials formation. The results of this thesis are the graphic materials describing the evolution of the lithological unit F1.
