Úprava křižovatky silnice I/46 a II/444 ve městě Šternberk

Abstract

The subject of this diploma thesis is the alternative design of the intersection on road I/46 and II/444. The thesis is divided into a theoretical and practical part, where the theoretical part includes an assessment of the current state of the intersection, including the results of traffic survey and traffic accident analysis. In addition, the peak hourly intensity, the annual average of daily intensities and the projected intensity for 2039 were determined. Following the above mentioned operations, three alternative proposals for the reconstruction of this intersection, which takes into account oversized transport, are then elaborated in the practical part. After multicriterial evaluation of the proposed variants, the conclusion of the thesis is devoted to the elaboration of the winning proposal.
