Abstract

The thesis deals with assessment of a minimum ignition temperature of dusts in a settled state from a hot surface. Dust characteristics and their technical safety parameters, procedures of sample preparation for measurement and methods that are used for assessment of the minimal ignition temperature of dusts in settled state are described in a theoretical part. The practical part of the thesis contains detailed description of equipment used for the minimal ignition temperature according to Standards ČSN EU 50281-2-1 by method „ A". Further on is described the process of particular measurement of chosen dust samples. Evaluation of results obtained by measurement and consequently comparison with the results of accredited test room SZ-214 are stated at the end of the thesis.
