Imisní zátěž půd v oblasti Třince

Abstract

This work deals with the content of heavy metals and metalloids (Fe, Mn, Cr, Pb, Zn, Cu, Ni, As) and evaluation of their contamination in urban soils of Třinec. The concentrations of these elements in the soil depends on many factors and environmental and mostly human influences. These are described in the first four chapters of this work and in the end are compared with the results. The remaining chapters describe the procedure and the methods applied and evaluates the measured results. The results indicate that elevated levels of these risk elements are caused by anthropogenic activities (mainly metallurgical industry and transport). However, except for zinc and lead contamination is not unusually high compared to other industrially burdened cities.
