Abstract

In the presented work is checked the thesis about advantages of cloud-based solutions as opposed to classical solutions of physical hardware for each server. The thesis is based on the claim of the companies offering the transfer of corporate information services to the cloud and uses a model of responsible corporate behavior, consistently investing, innovating, and eliminating operational risks. In this case, the proposition is confronted with the behavior of the real business company, which prefers to save resources at the cost of increased risk during the operation of corporate information systems. The goal is to find the optimal solution for company KEBEK s.r.o. from the perspective of operation of the server infrastructure, including data communications, for period of five years. The work at the same time has to serve as source of recommendations for the management of the company.
