Abstract
At present, is a trend the development of human society that brings together economic and social progress with full environmental conservation, when one of the goals is maximizing the consumption of secondary waste materials.
The diploma thesis deals with the possible use of polyester fabric residues, which is used in the automotive industry for the production of damping panels in the interior of cars and trucks.
In the experimental part of the diploma thesis, various variants of polyester fabric processing, were as reinforcement used in prepared samples. The bulk density, flexural strength and compressive strength were determined.
There were prepared bodies which contained a cloth in the form of a reinforcement of 1x laid fabric in the direction of filling, 2 layered fabrics in the direction of filling, 1 laid net in the direction of filling and pieces of fabric cut to 10 x 10 mm, used as a dispersed reinforcement.
The work has shown that secondary processing of polyester fabric is possible, but further research is necessary.
Another possible use of polyester fabric was proposed within the work, but it is necessary to verify the individual proposals.
