Potenciál využití biologicky rozložitelného odpadu v komunální sféře

Abstract

This bachelor thesis focuses on the potential use of biodegradable waste (BDW) in the municipal sector. The aim of the thesis was to analyse and evaluate the possibilities of its use based on the study of professional sources and practical examples. The methods used included the study of legislation and professional literature, field research, a questionnaire survey, and interviews. The main processing methods include composting and use in anaerobic digestion plants (ADP). The thesis also highlights the differences between smaller municipalities and larger cities, where waste management systems are more complex. The results confirm that biodegradable waste represents a promising alternative source of energy.
