Abstract
The consequences of mining and quarrying in the landscape can no longer be taken only as a necessary evil associated with mining activities. Post-mining landscape becomes significant, and often only, place to live many kinds of organisms. The thesis is focused on the possibility of using alternative insect homes in the renewal of land affected by mining and quarrying. The first part is devoted directly post-mining landscape Karvinsko in accordance with its restoration after mining activities. There is highlighted the importance of post-industrial habitats especially for invertebrates, which are able to replace their natural habitats. Another part specifies term replacement insect home. There are explained fundamental concepts, dead wood and insect houses, and their contribution within the reclamation measures. For an animal model group research itself was chosen hymenopteran insects, with narrower specialization in the so-called Solitary bees. Their unquestionable importance consisting mainly pollination activity and a way of life, says part of the third. In the last theoretical section of the thesis describes the selected sites, all of which are then pumped practical outcomes research, conducted from April 2015 to October 2016 in four selected sites Karvinsko.
