Abstract

This bachelor's thesis focuses on converting narratives describing a route into a structured form. The main goal is to develop a Python-based tool that enables the automatic processing of sentences containing motion verbs and their transformation into a formalized representation using the spaCy library. The thesis includes the definition of a narrative and the delimitation of a subset of texts to be processed, analysis of syntactic dependency structures (STD) and valency, the design of rules for identifying directions DIR1, DIR2, DIR3, and manner, and the implementation of a rule-based system for sentence transformation. The outcome of the thesis is a functional prototype capable of efficiently transforming input texts into a structured form suitable for further processing and analysis.
