Abstract

This thesis is focused on the sulphur distribution in Antonin coal seam in Jiri and Druzba open-cast mines. The opening chapters introduce the basic geological structure of the area. The following chapters deal with suplhur forms, sulphur genesis, chemism, and coal sampling. The last chapter describes the coal samples analysis from the wells. The results of this analysis were used for the construction of graphic charts, maps etc. Based on these results, the hypotheses of sulphur distribution are confronted with the real situation.
