Vliv korupce na ekonomický růst ve vybraných zemích

Abstract

The purpose of this thesis is describe the impact of corruption on economic growth in OECD countries in 2001 compared to 2011 and verify the validity of the hypothesis about the negative influence of corruption on economic growth in both years. This goal is primarily achieved by defining issue of corruption and economic growth. Then through professional empirical literature about relation between corruption and economic growth are gather information. In the practical part of this thesis are used methods of descriptive, correlation, econometric and comparative analysis while multiple regression analysis is considered to be the most important one. In connection with this analysis, hypothesis about the negative influence corruption on the level of economic growth was confirmed in both years.
