Abstract
The aim of the bachelor thesis is to compare approaches of similar municipalities to the provision of selected public services in the period 2012 - 2016. Waste economy, libraries and education services were selected in the municipality Bílov, Kujavy and Mankovice. The second chapter deals with public services, territorial self-governing units and features of selected local public services. The third chapter deals with the analysis of the provision of local public services in selected municipalities of Nový Jičín District. The fourth chapter compares the access to securing and financing of public services in selected municipalities.
