Abstract

This thesis focuses on the analysis of consolidation deformations of the bridge structures SO 201 OP1 and SO 207 OP1. The introductory part discusses the theoretical background of soil consolidation, geotechnical conditions, and embankment stability, including monitoring methods and the assessment of geological investigations. The practical part concentrates on numerical simulations using Plaxis 2D and MIDAS GTS NX software, with results compared to real measurements obtained through inclinometric methods. The thesis also evaluates the influence of different geometries, element density, and modeling approaches on the results. The SO 201 OP1 and SO 207 OP1 objects are analyzed in terms of stability assessment and time-dependent consolidation analysis. The thesis concludes with an evaluation of the applicability of software simulations for predicting consolidation deformations and their significance for the design and optimization of geotechnical structures in linear construction projects.
