Analýza příčin finanční krize podniku a návrh ozdravných opatření

Abstract

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá analýzou příčin finanční krize a následného úpadku konkrétního průmyslového podniku působícího v oblasti elektrotechniky a automatizace. Teoretická část práce vymezuje koncepty podnikové krize, finančního úpadku a krizového managementu, včetně právních aspektů insolvenčního řízení v České republice. Praktická část je založena na retrospektivní finanční analýze zkoumaného subjektu v časovém horizontu let 2013–2023. Pomocí poměrových ukazatelů rentability, likvidity, aktivity a zadluženosti, doplněných o Altmanův bankrotní model, práce identifikuje klíčové faktory, které vedly k platební neschopnosti společnosti. Hlavním zjištěním práce je, že k úpadku vedla především paralýza provozního cyklu v důsledku extrémně dlouhé doby obratu pohledávek a morální zastarání výrobních technologií, což v kombinaci s vnějšími ekonomickými šoky znemožnilo včasnou sanaci podniku. V závěru práce jsou navržena ozdravná opatření a zhodnoceny důvody, proč v daném případě došlo k vyhlášení konkursu namísto reorganizace.

This bachelor thesis focuses on analyzing the causes of the financial crisis and the subsequent insolvency of a specific industrial company operating in the field of electrical engineering and automation. The theoretical part of the thesis defines the concepts of corporate crisis, financial failure, and crisis management, including the legal aspects of insolvency proceedings in the Czech Republic. The practical part is based on a retrospective financial analysis of the examined entity within the time horizon of 2013–2023. Using financial ratios of profitability, liquidity, activity, and leverage, supplemented by Altman's bankruptcy model, the thesis identifies key factors that led to the company's insolvency. The main finding of the research is that the failure was primarily caused by the paralysis of the operating cycle due to an extremely long accounts receivable turnover period and the moral obsolescence of production technologies, which, combined with external economic shocks, prevented timely recovery. The final part of the thesis proposes recovery measures and evaluates the reasons why bankruptcy (liquidation) was declared instead of reorganization in this specific case.
