Optimalizace EH antény

Abstract

EH antenna is specific type of antenna, full title electromagnetic electrically short antenna. The basic trait is the electromagnetic field distribution. The electrical element E and the magnetic element H are perpendicular to one another. The main advantage of EH antenna is its small size compared to conventional antennas. However, it has disadvantages as well. The biggest one is a principally tuning at every transfer, what eventually makes the antenna unsuitable for mobile use. The goal of this work is to describe the theory of EH antennas and its function. Another goal is to perform a simulation in CST Microwave Studio and to analyze the impact of changes in dimensions and antenna settings on the properties. The observed relationships then used in the practical implementation, after the antennas construction according to the design created in CST Studio. Theoretical relationships and properties acquired during simulations in the practical measurement are verified and evaluated at the end of the thesis.
