Koncepce evakuace lůžkových oddělení velkých nemocnic

Abstract

The thesis offers an evacuation concept for big hospital wards emphasizing in-patients’ emergency evacuation. The thesis can be divided in four parts – four topics. The first part processes statistic data on fire frequency and describes the most tragic fires in hospitals in our country as well as abroad. The second part deals with hospital buildings design. The third part focuses on emergency evacuation of disabled people above all. In the last, quite practical part the author assesses the evacuation equipment and schemes in the University College Hospital in Ostrava.
