The work focuses on the issue of marketing of cities and municipalities, the so-called urban marketing. The thesis firstly defines the theoretical aspects of territorial marketing and its use at various municipal levels. The aim of the work also is to analyze the city marketing first theoretically, than also to draw attention to its specific differences with respect to general marketing and then also to point out selected practical activities of the city. Finally, important areas and activities are proposed in which it is necessary to persevere, as well as activities that should be supplemented in order to make Rožnov's city marketing more successful.
