Abstract

Evaluation of the possibilities for the waste management of composts according to Ordinance No. 341/2008 Coll. My theses deals with the description of the present situation and interpretation of the waste management of composts in the Czech Republic and the EU. The goal of my thesis is to identify problem of parameters for compost produced at the landfill in Frýdek Místek (Bruzovice). My task is to propose the possibility for optimizing the technological quality of compost. From the analysis of compost follows several problems. One of them is a higher content of N in mature compost, which can lead to settlement of compost and compost will suffer from lack of air. Another problem is the value of ratio C:N. It was found that the ratio of C: N in each granularity grainsize is too narrow, leading to a slowdown the process of composting. Tha ratio of C/N is not in agreement with Ordinace No. 341/2008 Coll. The compost have also higher proportion of inorganic substances in fresh and mature compost, therefore, these samples do not meet the thresholds laid down in the Ordinance no. 341/2008 Coll. (irreducible matter 2% max). From evaluation of risk elements (Pb, Cu, Zn) in dry matter of compost was found that the selected elements comply with the limits of the Decree No. 341/2008 Coll. Only Cr exceeds the limit of 28.13 mg / kg dry weight in fresh compost and matured compost to about 76.41 mg / kg dry weight. Also other analysis from validated laboratories confirmed, tah the contaent of risk elelemnets is in agreements with requested value in the Decree No. 341/2008 Coll.. From the analysis of organic micropollutant it appeal, tah the concentration of PAHs and PCB are higher then limit in Decree. It was found that PCBs or PAHs levels are not in agreement with the Ordinance no. 341/2008 Coll. PCB exceeds a certain threshold of 0,015 mg/kg dry weight. Significantly, however, levels of PAHs than the Order, and up to 10 mg/kg dry weight.
