Abstract

This bachelor thesis is a description of the work activities involved in specified projects of the individual professional practice in the company Dopravní podnik Ostrava a.s. on the programmer – analyst position rather than a typical bachelor thesis. The main project on which I worked on during my work experience was creating web application for management and circulation of legally-binding documents, in order to improve the functioning of the company – Řídící normy. I actively participated on each phase of the development process from analysis to deployment of the product using mostly Microsoft .NET framework, ASP.NET and Windows Communication Foundation solutions. This thesis also describes the use of components of a third party from the Telerik company.
