Abstract

This work deals with the roofing of bus stops and train platforms, mainly with their supporting system. At first the roofing supporting systems of the selected, already existing platforms were described. These train or bus platforms were built from reinforced concrete, steel, wood or combination of steel and wood. Then other types of roofing supporting system for bus transport made from the material on wooden basis were introduced. The optimum option was chosen and design, the reviews of the decisive supporting elements and joins including bracing and anchorage were compiled. The covering of the roofing was designed. The review was accomplished according to current applicable codes ČSN EN.
