Abstract
The aim of this diploma thesis is to analyse selection and adaptation of employees in the IT company, identify its strengths and suggest recommendations to improve its effectiveness. The thesis is divided into two parts – theoretical and practical. The theoretical part summarizes theoretical knowledge from the specialized literature and explains key terms related to the selection and adaptation of employees in organizations.
The practical part describes specific activities related to the process of selection and adaptation of employees in OSIsoft Czech Republic, s.r.o. This part is based on an interview with Osisofts’ Czech managers, as well as on information gained from the questionnaire given to the company employees.
In the conclusion of this thesis are summarized the results of the analysis and presented improvement suggestions.
