Porovnání různých druhů virtuálních privátních sítí

Abstract

This thesis focuses on the design, implementation, and comparison of various VPN solutions in a laboratory environment. The aim is to verify their functionality, compare performance, and evaluate the complexity of their configuration. The theoretical part describes the basic principles of VPNs and the protocols IPsec (IKEv1, IKEv2), OpenVPN, and WireGuard. The practical part includes testing VPN tunnels on Cisco, Huawei, and MikroTik routers. Parameters such as connection establishment time, latency, transfer speed, and device load were monitored. The results provide an overview of the advantages and disadvantages of each technology and include detailed configuration procedures for correctly setting up VPNs on different types of routers.
