Abstract
The aim of the thesis is to analyze and evaluate the current state of Science, Research and Innovation policy in the Czech Republic and the European Union. Based on the analysis, evaluate the area of financial support for Research and Development in the Czech Republic and then evaluate and predict future development of Research and Development support depending on the development of employment in Research and Development and the number of valid patents granted to Czech applicants.
