Abstract

Hampová Ž.: Reduction Railway of Siding of Karvina Mine, Factory ČSA, including the Reconstruction of Station Head of Doubrava. Ostrava, VŠB – TUO, Faculty od Civil Engineering, 2015.

The aim of this bachelor’s thesis is to develop a project on the reduction of the current railway yard as well as reconstruction of the siding of the station head of Doubrava at Karvina Mine, Factory ČSA. The thesis also includes a project on new loading and unloading tracks, loading areas, unloading and storing materials. In the introductory part, the characteristic of the area of interest is introduced. The current state of the siding is described on the basis of obtained materials and own findings. In the next part there is developed a proposal of variants from which the final recommendation that is based on the results of a multi-criteria analysis is discussed.
